Apple has released iOS 17.1.1, which includes bug fixes, wireless charging, and a weather widget.
The iOS 17.1.1 update fixes a problem with wireless charging as well as a glitch with the Weather Lock Screen widget. There have also been reports of Wi-Fi connectivity issues and device shutdowns, although it’s unclear whether anything in iOS 17.1.1 is meant to fix those. This update provides bug fixes for your iPhone including:
– In rare circumstances, Apple Pay and other NFC features may become unavailable on iPhone 15 models after wireless charging in certain cars
– Weather Lock Screen widget may not correctly display snow
Apple has already begun testing iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2, both of which are set to be launched in December.
